Learn to Braid!

Event Details

Many moms (and even a few dads) have asked us for tips on braiding their daughters' hair. In response, we’re now offering a new training event - our basic braiding class - hosted by our resident braid experts.

WHAT YOU’LL LEARN:  In this class, you will receive personalized instruction on creating braids. We will focus on two to three basic braiding techniques, including: a classic braid, a French braid, and a fishtail braid. If time allows, we’ll also demonstrate how to create some Frozen-inspired braids.  Most importantly, we want you to leave feeling confident in your basic braiding abilities.

AUDIENCE:  This class is appropriate for girls with medium to long hair who are old enough to enjoy sitting still while having their hair braided. Instruction is targeted for any mom, dad, grandparent, or caregiver who would like to learn braiding.

To ensure each attendee receives the personalized instruction and support they require to feel confident and comfortable in their skills, spaces for this class are limited.

COST: $25 (per adult/child pair), $10 (per additional child, as space allows).  Cost includes light snacks, a small goody bag, handouts, class supplies, and gratuities.

If you are unable to register for the class because it is full, simply email us at info@juniorcuts.com and ask to be placed on the Wait List for this or a future class. Include your name, preferred contact information, and the number of children (1 or 2) joining you for the class.

Event Details

• Tickets must be purchased in advance and will not be available at the door.
• Each child must attend with a parent or supervising adult.
• Additional child tickets cannot be purchased individually. If needed, they must be purchased in conjuntion with a standard "One Adult + One Child" ticket and will only be available as long as space allows. Adults attending with two children will need to use their own discretion to allocate a portion of the training time to each child.
• Out of respect for all attendees, the class will not be delayed for late arrivals.
• Standard policies and weekend rates apply to any extended pre/post class play at Recreations Outlet’s indoor playground.
• Photo Release:  By registering for this class, you consent for Junior Cuts to photograph and reproduce images of you, your registrant (if a minor), and his/her guests (if minors) for use in company promotional materials, including printed and electronic brochures, flyers, advertisements, websites, social media sites, and other related materials. Additionally, you agree that Junior Cuts shall be the sole owner of any/all such materials. At Junior Cuts, we take the issue of child safety very seriously, including the use of photographs where a child may be recognized. For that reason, personally identifiable information (PII) or other contact information will never be included with the photos and will remain confidential at all times.
• Ticket Transfer Policy:  Tickets may be transferred to another party guest free of charge. However, the salon must be notified in advance to ensure the new ticket holder will be permitted entry.
• Cancellation Policy:  In order to receive a refund, a ticket must be cancelled by 12:00am, Friday, February 6th so the salon has time to offer the ticket to individuals on the wait list. After that time, the tickets are non-refundable.
