ACSS Annual Conference

"Ready... Set... Global!"

Present at the Arizona Council for the Social Studies' Annual Conference, the premier conference for Arizona K-12 Social Studies Educators!

Saturday, Oct. 21, 2017

We are now accepting proposals for the 2017 Conference. The ACSS Conference features sessions in the following strands: American/Arizona History, World History, Geography, Economics and Civics. This year's conference theme is "Ready... Set... Global!" Regular conference sessions are 50 minutes in length. Mini sessions are 20 minutes in length.

Technology: All rooms will be equipped with Windows 10 based PCs, a presentation clicker, and a projection system. Web based applications will be available but a USB backup is highly recommended.

All presenters must register for the conference and pay to attend. Click here for conference registration.

We are part of the network of more than 110 affiliated state, local, and regional councils and associated groups with the National Council for the Social Studies. Our membership represents K-12 classroom teachers, college and university faculty members, curriculum designers and specialists, social studies supervisors, and leaders in the various disciplines that constitute the social studies.
