How to Start a Planned Giving Program

We start our 2015-2016 season at the very beginning - how does your organization get in on the $50 trillion intergenerational transfer with planned giving? You won't need to know a NIMCRUT from a flipCRUT, but you will come away with easy-to-implement tools and procedures to get your planned giving program off the ground.

Legacy Giving: Invest time today to yield future gifts Explore the importance of planned giving as part of your fundraising strategy, the motivations of donors who make planned gifts, strategies for encouraging charitable bequests, beneficiary designations and the value of charitable gift annuities. Your non-profit likely already has the necessary resources to start marketing planned gifts to targeted individuals and to a larger audience. The interactive session will cover similarities among legacy donors, asking for appointments, three easy vehicles for planned gifts, and the “planned giving mantra.”
