Keep Georgia Beautiful Foundation Awards Luncheon

We are excited for this year, as the 38th Annual Awards Luncheon is an opportunity to come together and celebrate the affiliate network and honor those whose ongoing efforts exemplify leadership in protecting Georgia’s environment.

Our guest speaker will be Will Johnston.  An energetic force, Mr. Johnston is leading the Tiny House Movement in Atlanta. Two years ago he quit his corporate job in order to travel for three months through New Zealand, working in vineyards and backpacking the south island. There he discovered a new way to live in a minimalist and experiential fashion.  Returning to Atlanta, Johnston picked up on the Tiny House Movement and has not looked back. Utilizing education and advocacy, he has grown awareness for the Tiny House Movement and what it could do for Atlanta and the South. Tiny House Atlanta is the largest Tiny House group in the nation, recently producing a very successful Decatur Tiny House Festival in July. Johnston has presented to SCAD Atlanta, GSU, and other community groups across Georgia on the premise of what the Tiny House Movement could mean for the area and why it appeals to so many.

Be sure to join us for our Exhibitor Showcase from 10:30AM - 12PM. This is a great opportunity to network with vendors and other organizations working to keep Georgia beautiful. And special for this year, attendees will have the opportunity to do a walk-through of a Tiny House during the Exhibitor Showcase!

We are proud to have the largest network of local KAB affiliates in the country. Our 78 local programs represent 76% of Georgia's population

We look forward to celebrating with YOU!
