FCA at Amelia Island Concours 2016 

Greetings FCA Members and Friends:

Please take a moment to read this email, and click through the links provided. However, to make this simple I am placing all essential links here for your convenience:

1. Reserve your 5 Diamond Resort accomodations.  Call 888-839-9145 to reserve Sunday if needed
2. Book your dinner reservations at the Seahorse Grill immediately 904-273-7750 for  Friday 7PM or nearest available time.
3. Reserve your spa apointments by calling this number 904-273-7700
4. Purchase your Amelia Island Concours Tickets. Note that I am working on early viewing and parking registration and will have these soon.
5. Complete your Cars and Coffee form

I've heard many of our members say "One day I want to attend the Amelia Island Concours". Well, that day has come! This event will take place on March 11-13th at Ponte Vedra Inn and Club and Amelia Island, FL.  Our accommodations are in a AAA Five Diamond Inn and Spa. Ladies, you heard me right AAA Five Diamond Spa! Guys....the best Concours on the east coast! All we need is for you to attend to make this a terrific event that, if well received, could become an annual tradition. Five Diamond accommodations without the 5 Diamond prices. A 5 Diamond Spa for the ladies and some guys, and a Concours and cars for the guys and some ladies!

About the Inn:

A grand hotel with a storied pedigree, the AAA Five-Diamond rated Ponte Vedra Inn & Club brings to mind images of quiet opulence, grace, stateliness and history. Located on a sprawling beachfront site in northeast Florida, the historic Inn has offered a world of upscale oceanfront accommodations paired with fine service and a wide array of leisure pursuits since its opening in 1928. 

Note it is important that you do register by Febuary 20th.

We require all guests to book by the 30  day cutoff date, February 15, 2016. After this date, we will release the unused portion of your room block back into our social inventory.  

Room rates are resonable for 5 Diamond quality and run from $249.00 to $299.00 for beach front.

Please note that if you need to register for Sunday night, you will need to contact the resort to add this night. As the concours is on Sunday, you may indeed want to stay an extra day.

About the Spa:  Guys make sure your wife, date, or SIGO sees this!

The region's largest spa with 30,000 square feet, this state-of-the-art facility has been meticulously designed to blend opulence and grandeur with the latest in technologies and therapies. March 11th Friday Reception and dinner 6:00 until

Friday evening there will be a reception at the Inn at 6PM and dinner at the Seahorse Grill at 7PM. Please note this is pay as you go.

Saturday March 12th Cars and Coffee 9am-1pm

We are invited to Cars and Coffee on the Amelia Island Concours Field! But first you must fill out this form and have it submitted ASAP. Put  SE Ferrari Club on the application. 

Satruday March 12th Bill Amos's Famous Hangar Party! 6PM until

Quack Quack. The most famous sound in marketing lexicon; complements of Bill Amos, from the founding family of AFLAC. Bill  has  invited us to his fabulous Hangar Party,  located not far from the Show Field. Here you will get a unique take on just what an airplane hangar should look like, good food, and comradery.  Read the article here and check out some cool pictures from 2015. There will be an admission fee at the Hangar.

Sunday March 13th Amelia Island Concours 9:00-5PM

This is a Ferrari Club of America event. If you are not a member, but would like to join, click here.  It is not required that you own a Ferrari -  just that you are a Ferrari enthusiast!

Ferrari Parking and display at the Resort

All spots are reserved for our Ferraris and other exotics directly in front of the Main Inn. The Ponte Vedra Inn and Club members are also invited to view our cars during our stay.

This should be a fabulous "wrap around" event. It involves 5 Diamond resorts, great food, friends, driving Ferraris, and the best Concours on the East Coast. What's not to like?! Let's go!
