Please join the board of directors for Drivers for Survivors as we kick off the holiday season, for wine, hors d'oeuvres, dessert fine dining drawings, silent auction, and holiday cheer!
Drivers for Survivors, a nonprofit serving Fremont, Newark and Union City, is dedicated to providing free transportation services and supportive companionship during treatments for ambulatory cancer patients living in the Tri-City area.
DFS' goal is to alleviate the stress associated with some of the more practical aspects of a cancer diagnosis, leaving the patient free to focus on their health and essential treatments.
DFS is currently recruiting volunteer drivers with a 5-year good driving record and is seeking to raise fiunds to support operational expenses.
Minimum donation of $35 per person is requested and appreciated.
