Domestic violence is at an epidemic level in this country as one in four women will experience domestic violence in her lifetime. In 99% of all cases of domestic violence, there is an invisible weapon keeping victims trapped in abusive relationships: financial abuse.

Throughout Domestic Violence Awareness Month in October, Allstate agents will help bring out the good in our communities and help survivors of domestic violence and their families by hosting a community supplies drive to benefit Next Door Solutions.

Next Door Solutions' programs and services are free-of-charge and designed to empower victims and their families. WIth a short-term goal to provide safety and a long-term aim to prevent abuse, Next Door Solutions' programs and service include the following: housing, crisis and community support, self-sufficiency, familly support groups and kid's club. In addition, the center offers its clients invaluable support and guidance. From the moment you walk in, you know you are in a safe and loving environment. The volunteers and staff make you feel respected and welcomed.

Our community Allstate agents volunteer their time and support the charitable programs of The Allstate Foundation, a nonprofit funded by Allstate Insurance Company. Allstate Foundation Purple Purse is the longest-running national campaign focused on ending domestic violence through a proven solution: financial empowerment services for survivors. For more information about The Allstate Foundation, visit AllstateFoundation.org.
