Affordable Housing Trust Annual Conference
Join Massachusetts Housing Partnership (MHP), Metropolitan Area Planning Council (MAPC) and MetroWest Regional Collaborative (MWRC) for a half-day conference geared towards trusteees of existing Affordable Housing Trusts.
Goal and Topics
The goal of this training is to bring trustees together to learn from each other, as well as from housing specialists. This conference will have a particular focus on the housing development process and instruction on how your community can support housing creation with Affordable Housing Trusts. Topics to be covered include:
- Overview of Affordable Housing Trust work across the state
- Challenges and successes in affordable housing initiatives, learning from other communities
- Eligible activities and legal considerations
- Housing development process
- Case study of fictitious community trying to develop affordable housing
- Tour of new online resource for communities
Registration Details
Continental breakfast and lunch will be provided. Cost to attend is $30.
