General Session: John Martin, “The Age Shift: The Future of Assisted Living Facilities” Nationally acclaimed futurist John Martin will examine the demographic and cultural trends impacting the future of assisted living facilities. Extended life expectancy and the shifting birth rates have conspired to create a future where there will be twice as many people in our society than today. John’s presentation will bring to light the needs, desires and expectations of assisted living facilities’ next wave of customers – Baby Boomers. The rise in Boomers has profound implications on designing, staffing, operating and marketing assisted living facilities. Key takeaways from John’s presentation will include actionable steps every assisted living facility must take to secure a competitive edge in attracting and retaining residents in an ever growing older population. You will leave John’s presentation energized and laser focused on how to drive your organization’s success for years to come. |

This program will discuss the "9 Mental Triggers" that help generate positive feelings and learn to reveal "Features" when they will be most impactful; and overall we will learn to stay away from falling into the "avoidance-trap"! |
