Brioche Class: Salish Sighs Cowl
Salish Sighs is a locally inspired, two-color brioche pattern that you can learn to knit!
Knit artisan Theresa Almeida will teach you how to master Brioche basics in this two part series. The first session is going to be Sunday March 19th, from 10am until 12pm. The second session will meet on Sunday, April 2nd, from 10am until 12pm.
You will learn Two Color Italian Cast On, Brioche knit and purl, Brioche increases and decreases, and together we will cast on for the beautiful Salish Sighs Cowl. A copy of the pattern is available with your class fee.
Class dates: 3/19 and 4/2, 10-12
Skill level: Intermediate
Cost: $65 per student
Minimum students: 5 brioche-a-holics
Maximum students: 20 brioche-a-holics
Required materials:
- Salish Sighs Kits will be available for purchase
- Worsted weight, NOT Superwash yarn such as
-Manos Del Uraguay Maxima
- Size US 6-8 circular needles for technique learning. Bring a few sizes to try out your gauge
- Please also bring your notions kit.
