ICE Training September 2020-Arizona

sNOW VIRTUAL! Thru the ISTE Certification process, teachers will participate in dynamic online professional learning based on the ISTE Standards & transformative pedagogy. After completing the training, participants have six months to apply their learning & compile artifacts & reflections into a competency-based portfolio.

  • Phase 1: Initial Session
To accommodate learners from all different time zones, we will be holding the initial sessions via Zoom on 4 consecutive Saturday mornings. Some asynchronous work will be assigned in between the Zoom sessions. Open office (drop in) time will also be offered to participants as an added layer of support. 
  • Phase 2: Fully Online Modules
Learners will complete 9-weeks of facilitated online modules. Learners will receive feedback on their work toward the ISTE Standards.
  • Phase 3: Portfolio Development
You will have 6 months to independently develop and submit your portfolio to ISTE. Learners will be invited (not required) to join a portfolio webinar in which we'll break down the portfolio development process and help get them started.
(Optional): More comprehensive support for portfolio development will be available for an additional fee.
