PMPEI Course in Zoning
March 2017

Tri-County Regional Planning Commission will offer a zoning course in March 2017 in partnership with the Pennsylvania Municipal Planning Education Institute.

The course will take place 6 to 9:30 p.m. on three consecutive Thursdays, March 2, 9 & 16, at the Swatara Township Building, 599 Eisenhower Blvd., Harrisburg, PA 17111.

The course is designed for planning commissioners, zoning officials, elected officials and others interested or involved in zoning.

Topics will include the relationship of zoning to comprehensive plans, key zoning terms and how they are applied, critical issues in drafting a zoning ordinance, procedures for adopting and amending ordinances, and basic zoning administration. 

COST: $35 for the entire course.

CONTINUING ED: Continuing education credits are available for realtors, engineers, surveyors, landscape architects, UCC officials and lawyers.

NOTE: Attendance at all three sessions is required for completion of the course.
