Please join us Tuesday, September 27, 2016, from 10:00 am - 4:00 pm for an Interfaith Retreat with teachers: Rev. Shokuchi Carrigan ~ ordained Zen Buddhist Priest, Green Gulch Zen Center & Father Thomas Bonacci, C.P. ~ Founder & Director of the Interfaith Peace Project.
What would interfaith spirituality look like if we practiced it faithfully? How do we engage the unique practices and teachings of our own traditions in a way that includes, rather than excludes, those of other traditions? Is there a life-giving path in each tradition that is both unique and inclusive? For instance, in the Christian scriptures, Jesus says, “I am the Way.” What if Jesus meant that we are all “The Way”? The Way to the heart, the Way to peace among the human family?
