Preschool Read and Rise Literacy Playgroup at the Norfolk Public Library
Help your child prepare for reading, learning and life!
Come to the Read and Rise Playgroup
This FREE 6 session playgroup/conversation series is designed to empower families to support children's literacy development. Children and parents will be actively engaged in books, songs, activities and hands on materials that focus on literacy.
Each family will go home with a different children's book every week to keep and add to their library at home!
This program is appropriate for children ages 2 - 4 years old and their caretaker.
BRING A LUNCH!
Families must be willing to commit to the 6 weeks (scheduled vacations and illnesses are an exception). If you are unable to attend this group for any reason please call or email me to cancel your registration. Playgroup will not run during school vacation weeks and other school holidays.
