Buddhist Teacher, Tulku Dawa Gyalpo Rinpoche Returns To KPC Maryland
Kunzang Palyul Choling (KPC) is pleased to announce at the request of Spiritual Director, Jetsunma Ahkon Lhamo, a weekend of Buddhist teachings and empowerments conducted by Tulku Dawa Gyalpo Rinpoche.
Jetsunma Ahkon Lhamo has said of Rinpoche, "He is a devout disciple of His Holiness Penor Rinpoche. His knowledge is a mine of jewels as he has studied well and worked hard."

Biography
At the age of six, Tulku Dawa Gyalpo joined His Holiness Penor Rinpoche's Namdroling Monastery in Bylakuppe, India. Upon completing his monastic education, including the nine-year course in both sutra and tantra, Rinpoche was appointed the head of Tsogyal Shedrup Dhargyeling nunnery and also taught at the Ngagyur Nyingma Institute. He has been recognized by H.H. the Dalai Lama, and H.H. Penor Rinpoche as the reincarnation of Tibetan Buddhist master, Shidag Rinpoche Orgyan Pema Rangdrol.
Event Logistics
The KPC Temple's Prayer Room is open to the public. The empowerments and teachings will be held in the Prayer Room.
General Admission Seating
There will be priority seating for preregistration and reserved seating for sponsors.
Arrive Early, Relax, and Prepare your Mind
Please arrive at least 30 minutes early in order to have time to park, register, and be seated well in advance of the teaching.
Parking
There is limited parking on the Temple property. Once the lots are full, then parking will be on River Road.
Lunch: There are local restaurants in Poolesville, which is 5.5 miles away.
