2nd Annual Monterey Peninsula Jewish International Film Festival

Greetings!

The 2nd Annual Monterey Peninsula Jewish International Film Festival begins Thursday, April 19, and runs through Thursday, April 26 at Congregation Beth Israel, 5716 Carmel Valley Road, in Carmel.

The Film Festival features six interesting and exciting films, two receptions, Israel Independence Day Dinner/Celebration and a Shabbat dinner on Friday night before services and the film. 

The six films to be presented are as follows:

April 19: 6:30 PM Opening Night Reception (*$), Yom HaShoah Service, Film @ 7:45 PM: There Was Once (Documentary/Hungary/English Subtitles), Q&A with Guest Cast Member and Producer/Director

April 20: 6:00 PM Shabbat Dinner (*$), Service, Film @ 8:15 PM followed by Oneg: Precious Life (Family Documentary/USA/Israel)

April 21: 7:00 PM Havdalah Service, Film @ 7:30 PM: Sixty-Six (Family Comedy/Great Britain/English), Dessert Reception

April 22: Film @ 4:00 PM: Crime After Crime (Documentary/United States/English), Q&A with Producer/Director and Cast Member, Private VIP Party with Producer/Director and Guest Cast Member (*$)

April 24: Film @ 7:00 PM: Live and Become (Drama/French/English Subtitles), Q&A with Rabbi Leah Novick

April 26: 6:00 PM Closing Night—Israel Independence Day Dinner with Live Entertainment and Dancing (*$), Free Film @ 7:15 PM: An Article of Hope (Family Documentary/US/English/Hebrew Subtitles)

Ticket pricing is as follows:

   CBI Member Advance single ticket, $10. each or CBI Member Advance 5-Ticket Package, $40.,     

General Admission Advance Single ticket, $12. each or General Admission 5-Ticket Package, $50. 

Opening Night Reception ($5./Sponsor Free),

Joshua Safran/ Yoav Potash Private Reception ($10./Sponsor Free)    

Catered Shabbat Dinner, CBI Member: $18., Non-Member: $20., Child $7.

Israeli Independence Day Dinner Celebration, Adult CBI Member $15., Adult Non-Member $17., Child $7.
