Panel Guests:
Camilla Cornell is a Toronto based freelance writer and author who regularly writes for National Post, More, Best Health, MoneySense, Good Times and Today’s Parent on subjects as diverse as personal finance, health, relationships, parenting and travel. In addition, she has written three books for the Dummies series, and a Reader’s Digest book called How to Pay Less for Just About Anything. Camilla has been the recipient of three National Magazine Awards for her work.

David Hayes has written four nonfiction books, including Power and Influence: The Globe and Mail and the News Revolution. He’s also written for Reader’s Digest, Saturday Night, Report On Business, The New York Times Magazine, The Globe and Mail, The Toronto Star, Toronto Life and National Post Business. He has won twelve National Magazine Awards. He teaches Advanced Feature Writing at the Chang School of Continuing Education, Ryerson University and gives workshops on feature writing as well as research, reporting and interviewing techniques.

IJ Schecter is an award-winning author and a humorist, ghostwriter, popular speaker, and communications strategist. He is the author of two current bestsellers, Slices: Observations from the Wrong Side of the Fairway and 102 Ways to Earn Money Writing 1,500 Words or Less. He is a regular contributor to publications such as Today’s Parent, Today’s Bride, Maxim, Men’s Exercise, National Geographic and Alfred Hitchcock’s Mystery Magazine and a senior writer for the popular sports website Fantrax.com.

Dawn Boshcoff is VP Professional Development, PWAC Toronto Chapter. A new media PR specialist, she helps businesses and entrepreneurs attain success through strategic planning and communication services provided through her company BOSHnewmedia.com. A college instructor of PR and global media for over fifteen years, she continues to expand her opportunities by forming partnerships and digital training initiatives, while getting ready to launch her coming book, The S.Ex.y Freelance Business.
