Our first Quarterly of the year is all about giving thanks, looking forward, and keeping you informed.  In addition to our regular update on the State of Downtown KCK (spoiler: it’s awesome), we’re excited to present three of our community’s greatest champions with an award and our heartfelt thanks for their service to Kansas City, Kansas.  Chuck Schlittler, Cindy Cash, and Lynn Kuluva have each played an essential role in the continued revitalization of our area, and we’re making sure they’re recognized for their contributions.

In addition to a brief awards ceremony, we’re going to get you introduced to our new Executive Director: Jason Norbury.  Jason joins us from Lee’s Summit, Missouri, where he operated the Law Office of Jason Norbury, P.C. since 2004.  He has served in multiple roles in downtown Lee’s Summit, including several years on the Board of downtown Lee’s Summit Main Street, Inc., a Great American Main Street Award-winning downtown revitalization organization.  Jason also served as the initial Chairman of the Board of Directors for the downtown Lee’s Summit Community Improvement District and has been a member of Lee’s Summit’s Planning Commission since 2010, most recently serving as Chair.
