2018 Kings Summer Camp Adventure


We are excited to announce the opening of King’s Summer Camp Adventure 2018 for ages 5 -13. This camp will include fun-filled, engaging activities and a hands-on learning experience that each child will surely enjoy.


It will be located in the Victory Christian Center School’s afterschool building. The camp phone number is 704-525-2117. Our camp administrators are Mrs. Larissa Summers and Mrs. Alice Duckett.

Camp Dates/Time: Camp will begin on June 11, 2018 and run through August 3, 2018. Our camp hours of operation are 7:30 a.m. - 6:00 p.m..

  • All campers must be signed in/out daily upon arrival and pickup.
  • All campers must arrive by 8:45 a.m.
  • A light breakfast will be served from 8:00 a.m. - 8:30 a.m.
    (free of charge)

  • All campers must be picked up by 6:00 p.m. or a $1/minute late fee will be accessed for that current week. Any late fees acquired must be paid by the Friday of that current week.

  • Campers will only be released to the authorized persons listed on the camp’s application. A picture ID may be initially required for release.

CAMP PAYMENTS:  (all payments are non-refundable)

A $25 registration fee is required when submitting your application. This non-refundable fee holds your spot for all eight weeks of camp.

  • Payments may be made by cash, check, or credit/debit at the VCC church office (9:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m), after church services, online, or on site. Please keep all receipts and payment information for participation verification.

  • The weekly camp fee of $120/camper will be charged at the beginning of each week. All camp fees are due on the Monday of each week. King’s Camp does not have a drop in or daily fee.
  • There is a $30 service charge for any returned check. The returned check must be cleared before another check can be received for payment. Parents will receive a 10% discount if the full cost of camp is paid at registration. 

1. Each camper must have a labeled bagged lunch daily. Please make the camp leader aware of any items that need refrigeration. Campers will not be allowed to heat up lunch, so plan accordingly.

2. We will have a snack break every afternoon. Campers will need to bring a snack from home or bring $1 to purchase a snack/drink from our snack room. Candy is NOT considered a snack.

3. Clothing must be loose and comfortable. Most of the camp time will be outdoors or on trips. Campers must wear sneakers daily. (some field trips require long pants) Open toe shoes are allowed on swimming days only, but must not be worn until needed. Appropriate swim attire consists of: FULL bathing suits, swim trunks for boys, and no jean material or non-swim wear). Each camper must bring a towel and plastic bag on swim days. 

No outside toys and games are allowed. We will not be responsible for any broken or lost items.

5. Transportation is not provided to and from camp. We will use the VCC/VCCS bus for field trips.

6. Field trip fees are included with the regular camp fee. Refer to the itinerary on the Field trip/Activity calendar for more information.

7. Parent Orientation will be held on Thursday, June 7, 2018, at our Victory Youth Building, 7224 Old Pineville Road, Charlotte), from 7:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. We ask that at least 1 parent/guardian attend.
