Local Foods Farm Dinner & 5th Anniversary Celebration

Celebrate local foods and our 5th anniversary at High View Farm! Join us for a festive day of local foods, fresh air and farm animals.  Tour High View Farm with chef and farmer-owner Linda Geren.  You'll see pigs, chickens, sheep, goats and horses and learn what it takes to be an Animal Welfare Certified farm. Joe Brandolo, President of Slow Food Philly will also be present to share stories from his trip to Torino, Italy to attend Terra Madre; a conference that's built to grow innovative ideas in food, sustainable agriculture and gastronomy.

Drinks and a buffet style dinner made by Linda Geren (and bursting with local goodness) will be served too!

 Farm Dinner Menu: 

  • Spring Green Salad with fresh Scallions, Cauliflower Buds, Multi-colored Radishes and a Honey-Lime Vinaigrette served with Goat Cheese Crouton
  • High View Farm Lamb Sausage, Spinach & White Bean Cassoulet
  • Slow Roasted Pulled Pork served with a medley of traditional sauces: Southern BBQ, Pork Pan Gravy, or Homemade Fresh Herb Mayonnaise
  • Marinated Broccoli and Carrot Salad
  • Macaroni and Cheese- made with local, organic Longhorn Cheddar from The Family Cow
  • Assorted Crusty Breads and Rolls
  • Fresh Strawberry Short Cake with Whipped Cream
  • Ginger Sun Tea, Fresh Squeezed Mint-Lemonade and Yards Brewery Beer (optional)
