Maintaining Our Brain Power

Tuesday Evening, April 4, 2017

Presented by MaAOHN

MaAOHN would like to invite you to a special event on April 4in Tewksbury, MA.

We will be celebrating Public Health Week with a reception, tours of the Public Health Museum and an educational presentation.

Maintaining Our Brain Power will be presented by

Thomas B. Shea, Ph.D., Professor & Director of Laboratory for Neuroscience

Department of Biological Sciences - UMass Lowell

We all face aging, and everything about us slows down as we age.  This includes our brain power.  However, there are steps we can take to maximize what we have.  These include what we eat and how we exercise our brain.  Dr. Shea will discuss simple steps that can make a difference.

At the completion of this session participants will be able to:

  1. Discuss how nutrition and supplements can maximize brain health and delay age-related cognitive decline.
  2. List 2-3 steps for improving cognition.
  3. Discuss how nutritional supplementation can buffer the impact of genetics and improve and maintain mental performance.

The venue is the Public Health Museum, a fascinating museum.

Make sure you take a tour.
