A Hellebore in a Handbag
- It's come to this, fellow gardeners. We're going to Hellebore in a Handbag for Christmas! With this unique project we'll plant up a Christmas rose in a moss purse with some friends & add festive winter greens.

- We did up the handbag in the photo last year as a prototype. The 'Jacob' hellebore bloomed all winter long and rebloomed a couple times in the spring. Even now, a year later, it's still looking happy and is setting bud. Equally, the plants we planted with 'Jacob' are also looking great. Everyone loves a good handbag. Even the plants are happy. You could also remove your plants in the spring, plant them in the garden, and replant your handbag with succulents.
- Your instructor Kate is looking forward to leading you through this creative project. And remember, it's even more fun when you do a workshop with a friend or family member.
