Bal-A-Vis-X May 2014 Training

by Deana Douglas

With more than a decade of hands on classroom experience, Bal-A-Vis-X is turning the world of education upside down.

Go to www.bal-a-vis-x.com  for more on the program.

Bal-A-Vis-X is a series of Balance/Auditory/Vision eXercises, of varied complexity, all of which are deeply rooted in rhythm.

Exercises are done with sand-filled bags and racquetballs, sometimes while standing on a balance board.

Bal-A-Vis-X (BAVX) requires focused attention, demands cooperation, promotes self-challenge, and fosters peer teaching. It is school and home friendly and just plain fun.

Deana Douglas is one of only sixteen certified Bal-A-Vis-X trainers in the world.  She lives and teaches Bal-A-Vis-X daily right here in Phoenix.  Deana will be giving the 16-hour training, which is Level 1 and Level 2 with a two-hour adaptive included over two days.

The training will be as follows: Friday, May 16th, 8:30am-6pm; and Saturday, May 17th, 8:30am-6pm.  This is a two-day training, so all participants must be in attendance both days to get all of the training.  Each day builds upon the next, so you must attend all of the days in order to register. Certificates of attendance will be given to each attendee.

There will be a one hour break for lunch on Friday and Saturday. No lunch is provided, however, participants are encouraged to bring their own or eat out - a list of nearby restaurants will be provided. Light snacks and drinks will be provided both days.

This is a fabulous training at an amazing price, so be sure to bring your family, friends, therapists, hab workers, etc.  You will not be dissapointed - you will go home from this training ready to work with your own child or your clients in these amazing exercises to strengthen their brain. Please visit the website www.bal-a-vis-x.com for more information about this program.
