New! Online Training Options

In order to support the professional development of Dental Office Managers, Dentists and practice owners located outside of Winnipeg, MDA and People First HR Services have partnered on two online training options.

Both of these courses will be facilitated by People First HR and offered using free and easy to use ‘Zoom’ software.  Participants should have a high-speed internet connection and either audio through the computer or an available phone line to support.  

 Building Capacity and Compassion: Dental Office Manager Course.  Module One: ‘Understanding legislative requirements’  (January/February 2020) 4 hours total course.

• Dates: Friday, January 31, 2020 andFriday, February 7, 2020 from 9am to 11am
• Timing: Two 2-hour webinars
• IMPORTANT: Participants should be available for both sessions.
• Capacity: 25 participants

Respectful Workplace Training: Online option available to ALL dental office staff.  Meets all Work Safe Manitoba Training requirements.  This session uses the People First HR created Respectful Workplace policy template as a baseline.  This template is available at no charge for MDA members here.

• Dates: ONLINE: Thursday. February 13, 2020 from 9am to 11am
• Timing: One two-hour webinar
• Capacity: 25 participants

Course Fee:

• Single Course - $200 plus GST
• Package Price for Both Courses Building Capacity and Compassion & Respectful Workplace Training.- $300 plus GST

In Person Respectful Workplace Training: Available to ALL dental office staff.
