The EWGA Par 3 Challenge is an opportunity for you and a friend to play a friendly competitive format on a Par 3 or short course. We want YOU to be a part of the fun and excitement. Players of all ages and skill levels are encouraged to compete so give the EWGA Par 3 Challenge a try.
The EWGA Par 3 Challenge offers two different divisions: Women’s and Mixed, as well as Gross and Net scoring options. Select the division and scoring option that best fits your game and skill level.
FORMAT
The event format is a two person team best ball. Teams are comprised of two women or one man/one woman.
DIVISIONS – WOMEN’S AND MIXED
The two-person team event format allows for both women’s and mixed teams competing with their gross or net scores. Teams must declare which scoring option they would like to compete in upon registration. To compete with the net scoring option, each team participant must provide a verifiable USGA Handicap. An adjusted Handicap Index will be used to calculate the course handicap for all net players (25% for men and 30% for women).
TO QUALIFY, PLAYERS MUST:
• Follow the registration guidelines distributed by your local Chapter
• Be a EWGA member in good standing or an invited guest of a EWGA member
• Have a verifable USGA Handicap Index and have an equivalent of two 18- hole scores posted in the current year prior to the May 1st handicap revision to use the net scoring option.
