2017 OVBIDA Fall Conference 

The Ohio Valley Branch of the International Dyslexia Association is partnering with Mount St. Joseph University's Reading Science Program to present this fall's conference, "Designing Powerful Reading Interventions". Following special presentations and a keynote address by Dr. Amy Murdoch, the day-long conference will be filled with breakout sessions around designing interventions for students in preschool through high school.

The conference will be held at Mount St. Joseph University, 5701 Delhi Avenue, Cincinnati, Ohio 45233, on Saturday, October 21 from 8:00 AM – 3:45 PM.

When registering, you will have the opportunity to choose THREE breakout sessions, one in each of the following time slots: 10:45 - 12:00, 1:00 - 2:15, and 2:30 - 3:45. PLEASE BE AWARE THAT CLASS SIZE IS LIMITED! Early registration will improve your chance to enroll in the classes of your choice.

MORE CONFERENCE DETAILS

REGISTER ONLINE! Due to the change in format for this fall’s conference, we encourage everyone to register online. This will allow you to see in real time whether your selected breakout sessions are still open for registration.

REGISTER EARLY! Online registration closes on October 18, unless the maximum registration number is reached before that date. If space is available, walk-in registrations will be accepted on the day of the conference. Please understand, though, that some breakout sessions might already be full at that time.

We’re sorry, but OVBIDA does NOT accept purchase orders as payment for the conference.

Lunch is included for those whose registration is received by Wednesday, October 18. People who register on the day of the conference will be responsible for their own lunches.

Bring your checkbook! Along with OVBIDA’s great materials, other vendors, including Discovery Toys and Dynamic Measurement Group, will have their material available for purchase.

Vendors who would like to attend the conference will need to pay the conference fee in addition to the $50 vendor fee. Please note that all sponsor and vendor participation is contingent on OVBIDA board approval.
