NYABB Conference 2012 

The leadership team at the New York Association of Business Brokers (NYABB) invites you to attend our upcoming one day conference.

The meeting will take place at the Doubletree Hotel in Tarrytown, New York on June 27, 2012 from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. This will be a full day of networking and education that will be of great value to your business.  The meeting cost is $125.00 and includes a continental breakfast and buffet lunch.  You do not have to be a NYABB member to attend the meeting.

This fascinating two part presentation will provide you with a detailed analysis of the business brokerage industry from its very beginnings to where it is headed in the future. Tom will present some very interesting facts and figures from 1978 right up to today's current marketplace and most importantly he will provide you with key insights about what it will take to be successful in the future.

11:30am-12:00pm  Cliff Olin, MBA, CM&AA, CEPA - Understanding Series 79 Licensure

The series 79 license has been a vague and confusing issue among mergers and acquisitions advisors as well as business brokers for some time. While most business brokers assume that the series 79 has nothing to do with them, they could find that a very costly assumption to make. Cliff will discuss the fundamentals of the licensing process, as well as whom it may affect.
