Laughter Yoga Workshop with Jessica, "The Funny Yogi"

In this fun, unique workshop you will learn how to tap into pure joy through physical exercises that stimulate laughter and childlike playfulness. Expect to stretch, chant, clap, and move! Celebrate the four elements of joy and re-learn what came so naturally to us as children - pure, contagious laughter!

Science has proven that the body cannot differentiate between simulated and real laughter.  In this workshop, you will learn new breathing exercises and techniques which are used to prepare the lungs for the hearty laughter and help oxygenate the entire body. The workshop will end with a ‘Laughter Meditation’ and guided Yoga Nidra (‘Yogic Sleep’ - a guided body scan and progressive relaxation). This entire experience is a powerful one that leads to healthy emotional catharsis, and a feeling of release and joyfulness that can last for days!
