Join Cid for an in person Lego Robotic Camp. Camp will run on Saturdays March 11, 18, 25, April 1, 8, 15, 2023 from 9am-1:30pm at the Autism Resource Center. You are responsible for transportation to and from camp.
Thanks to a grant from St Gobain, we will be working with the Lego Boost Creative Toolbox 17101 Fun Robot Building Set and Educational Coding Kit.
We will provide lunch, snacks, and drinks.
The participants will be working in teams of 2, to learn to work cooperatively, then will be able to build on their own after the first build. They are welcome to bring their own tablet or IPad if they have one, so we can download the apps into their device. After camp is over they will be bringing home the kit they have been working with.
We are looking for kids 9 years and older, and teens who can work with others cooperatively without behavioral outbursts..
On the last day we invite the parents and siblings to join us
at 12:45 pm for a showcase of the work they have done.
