Yoga Teacher Training for Pediatric Therapists 

Course Description 

This two-day, entry level workshop is for pediatric physical, occuational and speech therapists interested in the use of yoga as a therapeutic modality in pediatrics. Participants will gain knowledge about the available evidence supporting the therapeutic use of yoga for various pediatric populations (Autism, ADHD, Cancer, Concussion, TBI, Cerebral Palsy and Down Syndrome.) Students will learn fundamental yoga poses, modifications, a pediatric specific yoga curriculum and methods to teach yoga as part of a home program. Participants will leave class feeling confident to teach a yoga class specifically designed for children with or without special needs.
