CANCELLED - Small Business Tune-Up 

Every business has challenges. Are you proactively dealing with your challenges? This "speed dating" type event will let you discuss your most important issues with experts from a variety of fields including law, insurance, accounting, marketing, branding, sales, financing, customer service, and inventory.

The Villages & Ocala Chapter of SCORE, in partnership with the CEP’s Power Plant Business Incubator, is hosting an event entitled, “SCORE Small Business Tune-up: Speed Dating with Small Business Resource Providers.”

The purpose of the event is to allow small businesses an opportunity to briefly meet with and ask questions of experts in multiple areas. A total of 11 business subjects will be represented, with 2 subject matter experts at each table. Business owners may choose up to 6 subjects/tables to visit and they will rotate from table-to-table every 20 minutes.

This event corresponds with National Small Business Week promoted by the US Small Business Administration.

“Every small business has challenges” said Barry Black, SCORE Chapter Chair. “This is a chance for business owners to begin getting their toughest questions answered – and to hear from multiple perspectives and areas of expertise in the process.”

Ryan Lilly, Director of Business Creation for the CEP agreed saying, “While not every problem a small business has can be addressed in a 20 minute conversation, or let-alone in one night, businesses will at least start to make progress and can make arrangements for follow-on discussion.”
