Building a Competitive Advantage

Successfully competing in most markets requires an understanding of how to build a competitive advantage. If your small business is not increasing its market share or just seems stagnant, understanding strategy will allow you to identify areas of operation where you can increase or establish your competitive advantage.

This workshop describes strategic options for small businesses including identifying the necessary resources and capabilities that make the strategy successful. Each strategic option demands a unique set of competencies that can be developed over time.

Small firms must face competition from large enterprises and other small businesses alike. The key to being sustainable for the long term is to understand strategy and how to apply it to your business.

A special emphasis of the workshop is clarifying the relationship of your business to your market.

There is a fee of $15 for this workshop but you can register a guest for free.

Testimonials from previous workshops: "very helpful in directing my business", "came looking for ideas and found them", "well managed and informative".
