Making Waves College Counselor Symposium, February 22, 2017 9am-1pm 

Making Waves commits to rigorously and holistically preparing students to gain acceptance to and graduate from college to become valuable contributors to the workforce and their communities.

As part of our initiative to foster college success for underserved students within the Bay Area, Making Waves Foundation is hosting our second College Counselor Symposium!

This free conference is a great opportunity for Bay Area high school counselors and community based organizations to gather and discuss best practices for working with first-generation students. Attendees will receive valuable information to understand student challenges, navigate financial aid, and facilitate success in post-secondary education.

Highlights include:

• Engaging panels with experts in the field
• Breakout sessions with several options to participate, learn, and collaborate with your peers and leaders in the field
