Hoarding has become a buzz word in pop culture today. It has television shows focused on it and people thinking that is you have things you might be a hoarder.
The Continuing Education Course offers a light look at a serious issue while showing what hoarding is and is not. Gaining knowledge into some of the whys of hoarding will assist the insurance agent, the adjuster, property/facility manager, and realtor in best practices of interacting with a hoarder to best mitigate each problematic situation. Policy coverage and limitations when hoarding is an issue during a claim will be covered.
This class will also discuss some of the emotional concerns that will help you in the mitigation process. Understanding some of the restoration processes can reduce the loss severity and aid in the disbursement of the personal property limitation relating to actual cash and reimbursement costs will also be discussed.
This course includes true-life examples, demonstrations, and an energetic and knowledgeable instructor.

Ron Clawson has over 20 years experience working with insurance, property management & real estate industry professionals with solutions to manage restoration-related issues. His experience with Rainbow International includes assisting insurers with efficient claims processing involving fire, smoke & water damage structures. Related training includes on-site mitigation assistance, fire and smoke restoration, odor control and certification from the Institute of Inspection Cleaning and Restoration (IICRC) in Water Damage Restoration.
