Each year on Comcast Cares Day, thousands of Comcast employees, their families, and friends come together to make a positive impact in neighborhoods across the country. Locally, volunteers from community organizations will support Comcast Cares Day and support the Greater Prince William Area.

Comcast and NBCUniversal mobilize employees, their families and friends to work alongside community partners and public officials to revitalize neglected neighborhood parks, beautify schools to improve the learning environment, stock community food banks, install computer labs at community centers, plant trees, conductfood drives and much more.

What is the impact of Comcast Cares Day? - Comcast Cares Day is the largest single-day corporate volunteer effort in the country. In 2013, NBCUniversal hosted the first international Comcast Cares Day projects in England, France, Germany, Singapore, Australia and New Zealand.

- Comcast has mobilized more than 500,000 volunteers who have given more than 3 million hours of service at more than 5,000 project sites in local communities since 2001.
- The Comcast Foundation has matched the efforts of our Comcast Cares Day volunteers by donating more than $14 million in grants to local partner organizations since 2001.
