PURPOSE OF THE TRAINING:

The Guidance Document for Individual Education Program (IEP) Development was developed to provide Statewide clarity & consistency for IEP development & training.  This document addresses the IEP development process by providing clear, concise instruction, along with examples to facilitate understanding of the process. Training will address development of all components of the IEP thus leading to statewide consistency in developing the IEP.                            

                                               LEARNING TARGETS:

  • Facilitate clarity & consistency of IEP development
  • Ensure statewide consistency of IEP training
  • Provide an overview of the process for developing an IEP
  • Align IEP development with Kentucky Academic Standards
  • Review the content of the IEP Guidance Document
  • Provide technical support to Districts and teachers developing & implementing IEPs

Cancellation Policy: School districts (or schools) will be billed following the activity based upon registration. Cancellations must be made within ten (10) business days of the activity to avoid being billed the fee. Substitutions will be allowed.
