Topic: Fulton Transit Master Plan

Description: The passage of HB 930 has the potential to dramtic ally change transportation in the Metro Area. Join us for our May meeting as Todd Long (Fulton County) discusses the impacts of the transit bill on all transportation users and provides an overview of the Fulton County Master Plan.

Todd Long is the Chief Operating Officer for Fulton County. As COO, Todd runs all day-to-day operations of Fulton County’s citizen-facing departments and is responsible for citizen satisfaction with services and improving efficiency in operations. Prior to joining Fulton County, he served as Deputy Commissioner for Georgia DOT. Todd is a graduate of Georgia Tech with a Bachelors and Masters in Civil Engineering; and he is currently the Vice President for Southern District of ITE.

ITE “Bring a Friend” Day is back: In an effort to grow our organization and encourage a diversity of transportation professionals, we are continuing ‘Bring a Friend” day this year. We are looking to expand our reach with roadway design, transportation planning, and other transportation related professionals. You are encouraged and rewarded with bringing a colleague that is new to ITE, or would like to reconnect with ITE (first time attendees are eligible). There will be a raffle with one host and one guest being awarded a $100 Amazon Gift Card.

Early Cost/Registration:   $30 Private Sector Member, $15 Public Sector Members, $15 Life Members, $10 Job Seekers, $35 for non-Members.  Students are free if regfistered online.  On-line registration via the ITE website (link below) ends on Monday, May 7th at midnight, or once the room limit is reached.

Late Cost/Registration: Walk-ups are welcome at the door as space allows; walk-ups and late registrants will be charged $5 extra.
