Open House: Become a Teacher!
Do you enjoy inspiring children, being creative, working with others, having fun, and continuously learning? You can make a difference in the life of others — become a teacher!
Attend CESA #1's free open house to learn more about how to become an educator in a "high need" area! Representatives will be avaliable to help you learn how to become licensed, what to put on your resume, and how to find a job. Many positions are available throughout the state and schools are looking to hire for positions this fall.
Areas designated as “high-need” may include:
- Alternative Education (must hold a valid teaching license)
- Bilingual Education
- Cross Categorical Special Education
- Early Childhood Special Education
- English as a Second Language*
- Business Education*
- Mathematics*
- Music*
- Other World Language*
- Science*
- Computer Science*
- Technology Education*
** Bachelor’s Degree in field or major equivalent needed
Details:
- Register for an information session at 4 PM, 5 PM, or 6 PM.
- If you have a resume, bring it with you (or we can help you build one!)
- Bring any questions you have about alternative licensure or substitute teaching; CESA #1 staff will be happy to answer them.
- Staff will analyze your background and let you know which license(s) you may be eligible for.
