Dual Language Education

fThis session is a one-day interactive learning opportunity for educators who are interested in learning about Dual Language Education.

Participants will learn key features and fundamentals of dual language education and explore program models that support additive bilingualism, biliteracy, and cultural competence.

Objectives:

Understand guiding principles for Dual Language Education
Learn about bilingualism in the United States
Understand additive vs. subtractive bilingualism
