Literacy Instruction in Dual Language Education
This workshop will focus on effective biliteracy instruction in a Dual Language setting.
Participants will learn the foundations of teaching for biliteracy development. We will explore social linguistic premises for teaching U.S. Bilinguals.
Objectives:
- Understand monolingual and multilingual perspectives
- Understand the relationship between oracy & literacy
- Understand the fundamental social linguistic premises
