This workshop is designed to expose teachers to assessments that serve three purposes: (1) to identify students who are at risk of reading failure: (2) to match students to the appropriate intervention: and (3) to monitor the effectiveness of the intervention. Teachers will learn various assessments that can be used while working in the CIM Interventions.
This is a prerequisite workshop to upcoming CIM trainings at CESA #1.

Audience: Title I, Special Education, Classroom, and ESL teachers, Reading Specialists & Interventionists

All participants will be required to purchase/bring a copy of the text, Interventions that Work: A Comprehensive Intervention Model for Preventing Reading Failure in Grades K-3.
If you do not wish to purchase the text, we will purchase one for you and the cost will be included in your registration - please be sure to select the $160 payment option when registering. You must register by March 4th to ensure your text will arrive on time.
