Engaging Today's Learners:
Motivation & Grit

Lack of these elements can create challenges in the classroom. Learn how to address the needs of your reluctant learners by identifying their motivators and developmental needs.

During this training participants will:

  • develop a deeper understanding of grit and resilience
  • learn ways to measure grit with students and adults
  • acquire classroom strategies to cultivate and teach grit
  • review literature that fosters a classroom culture of grit
  • dig deeper into student engagement and motivation
  • explore how goal setting supports student engagement

Audience: K-8 classroom teachers
