This day-long workshop will provide educators with strategies to easily implement blended learning practices into their learning environment, assisting in the journey to move towards a more learner-centered environment. Blended learning is an approach to learning that blends online resource materials, opportunities for collaboration, and face-to-face learning for students. Learners of all ages benefit from this approach by empowering them to take control of time, place, path, and pace of learning.
During this session, educators will participate in a modified blended learning format, experiencing several elements of this disruptive innovation that they can easily take back to their educational settings the next day. The blended learning approach can easily support environments with a variety of student learning needs, facilitate the implementation of small group instruction, and enhance educator/learner relationships through more one-on-one interactions during class and virtual learning days.
Please plan to bring a fully charged device.
