Liberty Hospital Hospice
Tree of Remembrance & Ceremony

The Remembrance Tree Ceremony gives the community a chance to remember loved ones during the holiday season by placing a personalized memorial ornament on the tree. This year’s ornaments come in a variety of shapes and are handcrafted using plantable seed paper. Loved ones can plant their ornaments for a beautiful reminder that will bloom in spring.

A blessing will be performed, followed by a reading of names. Guests may place their ornament on the tree when they hear their loved one’s name. If no one is present to place the ornament, a hospice staff member will do so. Food and refreshments will be provided.

There is no donation required for the ornaments or ceremony, but your gifts will go immediately to work helping Liberty Hospital Hospice continue its mission.

Your gift, in any amount, will help other families face the difficulties that come with the loss of a loved one. The kind of care we are able to offer at Liberty Hospital Hospice includes so many things that Medicare fees and other insurer reimbursements jut won’t pay for. Every gift is appreciated, and will do real good.
