Sanctuary. . .

a place of refuge and protection. The practice of Reiki leads us to discover this place within. It exists along side the deep feeling of “home” that comes so often during the time of initiations.  We enter this inner space with the sense of being deeply comforted.  When experienced in a group of Reiki students, this feeling of sanctuary becomes substantial, unforgettable, ever present. This is an invitation to step into sanctuary with others, increasing the capacity to hold our humanity with compassion.

During this time together, Reiki students of all degrees of initiation will support each other in treatment, in silence, and in thoughtful exchanges.  Each participant will increase their capacity to hold themselves and, therefore others, in compassion without the need to alter the process.

The sanctuary we seek is inside. 

Reiki is the key that will take us there.

Community is the context for healing and for comfort.
