Nashuva's Pre-Yom Kippur Meal 

Please join us for a pre-fast meal in preparation of the Yom Kippur fast.  

The Talmud tells us that partaking in the Pre-Yom Kippur meal is considered as much of a mitzvah as the deed of fasting.  By enjoying a festive meal we are showing our elation that the time has come for our atonement and we are showing concern for our sins.  The festive meal before the start of the holiday also provides us with the physical strength we need to focus on our prayers, ask for forgiveness and reflect on our past year leading us to teshuvah.

To help fulfill the mitzvah of eating and to decrease the stress brought on by preparing a meal, eating, and cleaning up all before attending Kol Nidre service, Nashuva is providing a meal before the Kol Nidre service at our Founder's Church location.  

Come join Nashuva for a pre-fast Kosher meat meal to prepare and provide the strength necessary to bring us through the fast.

Cost per person: $30.00

Menu: Roasted Chicken, Saffron Rice, Sautéed Vegetables, Mixed Green Salad, and Fruit Dessert.  Vegetarian option upon request.

PAID RESERVATION AND TICKET ARE REQUIRED TO ATTEND THE DINNER.  MEAL REGISTRATION CLOSES SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 8, 2013 AT 11:59 PM.
