Tending Your Growing Company

Continue to connect and grow with us in 2016! Plan to join us on May 11 for the second class in our four-part series on landscaping business basics titled, "Tending Your Growing Company."

As our keynote speakers, we will have:

• Teri Nguyen, CFO at Marina Landscape

Teri will talk about cash flow, billings/collections, and reading financials.

• A Labor Enforcement Task Force (LETF) mgr., Cal/OSHA

The LETF manager will provide information on how employers can keep workers safe, will cover some of the main hazards encountered in the landscaping industry, will go over heat illness prevention, and will detail an injury and illness prevention program.

• Chris Marsh, Clinton Polley Insurance Brokers

Chris will talk about recent changes in experience rating, claim reporting, and what to expect moving forward.

This panel of professionals will talk from their own experiences and be available to address questions first-hand.

Meet new Green Industry friends during networking that will begin at 4 p.m., followed by the educational session at 4:30 p.m. There will be heavy appetizers, which are included in the $40 to attend. Cost for non-CLCA members is $45. Class is scheduled to conclude by 6:30 p.m., allowing enough time to get you home with your family in time for dinner!
