*Professional Directory Listing  RequirementsA fundamental goal of SPaN's Board of Directors has been to develop and promote standards for practicing advocates, and promote the recognition of advocacy as a profession. SPaN recognizes and supports continued learning, as it is essential for advocates to stay current in the field of advocacy. To have a professional listing on the SPaN website, each listing member must meet the required 12+ hour ongoing training standard. Continued education hours can be achieved through SPaN workshops, FCSN trainings, conferences, presentations, classes, etc., that you attend and are related to the field of Special Education and Advocacy.
