The Lewis and Clark Trail Heritage Foundation and the Fort Mandan Foundation have joined together to provide a forum for Lewis and Clark-themed Museums and Visitor Centers to come together for the first annual Lewis and Clark Trail Visitor Center Network Workshop. Session topics will include fundraising, marketing, collaboration, digital media and a national perspective of the Lewis and Clark Trail.
The workshop is being funded in part by a grant from the National Park Service, Lewis and Clark National Historic Trail. There is no registration fee for the workshop. Scholarships of up to $500 will be awarded on a first-come, first-served basis to help cover travel expenses to the workshop. Employees or official representatives of Visitor and Interpretive Centers or Museums on the Lewis and Clark Trail are eligible for the scholarship.
The workshop will be held the afternoon of Saturday, July 27, 2013, and will adjourn in time for participants to attend the activities planned for the 45th Annual Meeting of the Lewis and Clark Trail Heritage Foundation.
