The Missouri Office of Prosecution Services is pleased to announce that it will be hosting the Fourth Annual Support Staff Conference from November 7-9, 2012, at the Stoney Creek Inn in Columbia. This conference will feature sessions on effective communication, handling delinquent tax cases, handling extraditions, and the importance of teamwork, among other topics.
The registration fee for this event is $100.00. Please make checks out to the MOPS Revolving Fund and send them to P.O. Box 899, Jefferson City, 65102. Paying the registration fee in advance, and not at the door, is appreciated. This registration fee covers the course materials and lunch on Thursday, November 8. Breakfast is included with sleeping room reservations.
Sleeping rooms are available at a rate of $80 per night, plus any applicable taxes. Reservations can be made by calling Stoney Creek Inn at 800-659-2220. Ask for the block of rooms reserved for the Missouri Office of Prosecution Services. The cut-off date for hotel reservations is October 7.
This year we are also offering an optional, pre-conference networking reception and self defense seminar. This session will be held on the evening of Wednesday, November 7, from approximately 6:30-9:30 pm. In order to have an accurate count for this session, please indicate in your registration if you plan to attend.
